Syd Smyth
Syd is a Business Development Professional with extensive experience in Income Tax Consulting and Business Requirements. He has successfully represented and won all income tax and GST audit reviews. Syd maintains productive relationships with clients and partners. By digging deep into all aspects of the business, Syd is able to analyze and collaborate with the owners to strategize and plan for profitable solutions. He has a comprehensive understanding of the various ways of financing businesses and has successfully negotiated and completed many types of financial restructuring.
Syd attended University of Guelph with studies in Agriculture and Information Systems. He received an honours diploma in Systems Analysis and Programming at the Institute for Computer Studies and was valedictorian for the graduating classes. He has worked on various farms during his university years including tree farming, turkey farming, tobacco farming, nurseries and greenhouses. He has also recently done research into fava bean farming and fractionation.
Joanna Smyth
Joanna is an experienced business consultant with a demonstrated history of working in the Information Technology and Financial Services industries. She is skilled in Business Processes, Business Analysis, Databases, Bookkeeping and Management. A strong consulting professional who has worked in the Banking, Manufacturing, Agricultural and Financial sectors for companies including BMO, Scotia Bank, Solectron and Mackenzie Investments.
